Jim Powers & Killroy Set to Rock The Federal’s Last Punk Show

Multi-award-winning prolific director and old-school punk rock bassist Jim Powers and his punk rock band Killroy have played many shows. The Federal (aka the Knitting Factory Noho) has been one of their favorite venues to play at, but they're calling it quits. Jim Powers & Killroy Set to Rock The Federal’s Last Punk Show

(Hollywood, CA) Multi-award-winning prolific director and old-school punk rock bassist Jim Powers and his punk rock band Killroy have played many shows. The Federal (aka the Knitting Factory Noho) has been one of their favorite venues to play at, but they're calling it quits. But before that happens, one more raucous all-star live show will occur on Friday, December 29th.

If you love punk rock, The Federal, and Killroy, you definitely want to be at The Last Slam next Friday, December 29th. Killroy will play live on stage with Jim Powers on bass, Tom De Spain on vocals, Eric Troop on guitar, and Ken Wilkes on drums. This is the last punk rock show ever at The Federal, which will soon shut its doors. Be ready for a kick-ass show that could quite possibly melt your face off. Killroy will take the stage at 10:30pm.

The Last Slam’s all-star lineup also has LUICIDAL (featuring OG Suicidal Tendencies members), Das Klown, The Generators, Sidekick, and Madam Bombs. The doors open at 7pm, and it’s an all-ages show.

“We’re sad that The Federal is calling it quits but excited we’re part of the last punk show at the historic venue. Come to the show—it’s the most fun you can have on a Friday night, besides watching my porn,” says Jim Powers.

The Federal is located at 5303 Lankershim Blvd. in North Hollywood. Buy advance tickets at ticketweb.com/event/luicidal-killroy-das-klown-the-knitting-factory-noho-tickets/13311473 or pay $20 at the door.
